    85 325e, 119k miles, $3500/bo, CT

I'm selling this as I'm picking up an s52 powered car. It is an 85 325e with 119k original miles and Polaris silver which is pretty cool on an e30.

Bad first: paint has some blemishes and some d-bag painted the trim moldings black, it's presentable, but has some age. Dash has cracks, front cloth sport seats are worn, back seat is good. Interior is original gawd-awful blue. Oh, and previous owner painted the valve cover...yellow. (barf)

The Good; Perfect candidate for swapping an 'i' head onto. Body is very solid, especially for a new new england car, a couple spots of surface rust down low and a little around the license plate lights, but nothing structural and nothign I would even bother with if I were going to keep the car. Spare is almost brand new, in mint shape.

Engine runs nicely, has plenty of power (for an e), as I said, 119k miles. Shifts well, clutch etc. is good. Recently replaced the fuel filter and fuel lines as the car was in storage for a long time. It did have some crusties in the fuel tank that was causing the fuel pump to clog, but we've cleaned that out.

Engine bay is super clean, you can tell the fenders have never been off, and no accidents. Even the little snorkel form behind the headlight to the airbox is still there.

On Craigslist for $4200 because everyone there is a cheap tire-kicker, asking $3500/bo for r3V folks.

I'd be happy to take particular pics if anyone is interested and can show the car most any time in Pomfret CT.

(sorry for small pics, just linking to my CL ad, will upload bigger and better when I get home tonight)

        Bump for lower price and...

I'll include a rebuilt "i" head, head was professionally gone through, new valve seals, valve job, new springs, pressure tested and resurfaced, great for putting on the eta block. $600 in parts and labor invested, receipt in hand.
