Wish he had posted a little information about the 5 speed swap since it was originally an automatic. Otherwise looks pretty clean in the pics. Cloth comfort seats aren't really my bag but they look really clean and in great condition for the age.

That seems sleazy on his part not to list that info in his description.

He may honestly not know it when/how it was converted, but as a buyer who knows e30s I'd be sure to verify that it was done correctly. If when asked about the swap he gets cagey I'd likely walk away, b/c if he was hiding that for some reason who knows what else may be hidden.

If I bought a car like that for $8,500+ I would feel like a fool if I found out after the fact that it came from the factory with an automatic. It's sleazy because it doesn't fit the story he is trying to promote that this car is a low mileage time warp example, and it makes his job of selling the car a little less easy. It may not affect the final purchase price, but anyone bidding on this should have that info up front, without playing detective. Just my opinion.

                    Just fyi guys..and yes, I'm a noob.
I saw this car several months ago. It was being sold in VA by someone that lists fsbo's on r3v fairly often. Don't know him personally but he knows his stuff.
He can out himself..if he dares! :)

It's a time warp, but it still has 23 year old rubber everything. Unless it was stored in a vacuum container, it's still going to have many of the same issues that all 20+ year old cars have.

                      $8500? Uhh...

people in AZ are cheap because it is crappy state. Those E30 go for 8k easy on east coast, here in AZ when you put price on your E30 at 2k people think its too much.
