Leaving e30s! Sedan Project FS, or Partout Profit Car!

    Hello r3v,

I am getting out of bmws for the time being, and possibly project cars. I do not have the time or money for it anymore, and finally got a steady daily so I do not need temptations of building cars. Most of this is copied from my previous thread, but I added some more info.

The sedan is lapisblau, but plastidipped blaze blue. The job is a 5/10.

I baught the car because it had very minor rust, and the bay was a rare color. The problematic areas were the drivers rear floor pan, arch, and roof. However, I patched them all along with an antenna delete. The car needs a new door (included) because its rotten along the bottom, and a sunroof panel (included).

The shell has about 200k on it, and I have the title in my hand. It has valid nj inspection until 6/14.

The interior is really great on this car. It was originally a blue vinyl ugly interior, but I swapped it for black vinyl sport seats (front 8/10 rear 9.5/10), hounds cards, gray carpet, and a crack free dash! Headliner is all there, and it will clean up great.

The car is lowered on billy sports, and eibach pro kit springs. I have a full, well working, manual trans swap in the car. The car was a manual, but it is mated to a b25 bottom end, still has the driveshaft and everything needed to swap to another car! Rear end is a GPS 2.93 lsd, since I was turbo, and was rebuilt and fluid changed. Bottom end is a refreshed b25, of which I paid to get oringed and honed, and I put all new bearings/seals/rings into.

So, to break it down, Here is the approx value of the stuff in this deal.
Shell - 500$ since its rust free, titled, and inspected
Billie sport setup - 200$ for quick sale
    5 speed swap full thing-500$
    crack free dash-250$
    2.93 lsd-300$
    Interior seats-300$
    Total-2050$

There are still more parts to sell off to make more money, but I am in a position I do not really have the time to do that. If I cannot get a reasonable offer, I will slowly pick at it.

I am looking for 1500$ for it picked up, or reasonable offers.
Its very hard to find a rust free car around this area. The only issue is the paint under the plastidip is not good (its half primer/bondo). The car will need paint, but stands for a solid shell for a future project.

    My loss your gain.

Arch I patched for the first time.. Needs sanding.

The lighter part is from primer. I patched that whole section.

Not an 88, it has smaller taillights so it has to be 87 or earlier, considering it was an eta car it is most likely 85 or 86

Looking to part out the big ticket items, aka what I had listed in the description.

However, this is a great opportunity to make a few bucks off this car, with the parts being priced to go! I am realizing that transporting a parts car might be a bit tough, so If I have more time I will probably part this out in the future, otherwise, a great deal is here for sale.

Not to mention, a solid shell for any project/swap, and with valid nj inspection, it could be legal on the road almost instantly

Tough to tell from the pics. Is that overspray on everything? The paint might be what's dampening interest. I live about 30 mins away in Bucks and part these out pretty frequently. I might be interested. Thanks!

Well, just needs a little cleaning of the plasti dip overspray, otherwise its good to go. For what I am asking, and what I am losing, I feel that its more then fair for a project start with little rust, or a great way to make some money parting out.

                          Part Out

PM me with your bottom line price. I'm on the fence. That is a ton of work to clear that plasti-dip off. Also let me know if it was originally an "i" or an "e" model. Thanks!
