It's time to sell my autocross/track rat. It's just sitting around gathering dust since I got the Mini and I want it to get used like it was meant to. The car is an 1988 BMW 325 with the 2.7 inline six. Odometer reads about 223k miles. This is what is known as a Super ETA. It's a four door with a five speed transmission. The car is street legal, has always passed smog. It's not real pretty but it's a solid and straight except for a small dent in the passengers side rear quarter panel/fender area. The clear coat is messed up on the roof, the bumpers are hazy and the rubber trim could use a repaint. I've put a lot of money over the years into it in repairs and mods so all the major stuff is done. Over the last 3 years I've done the following:
1. Drivetrain
Timing belt and tensioner
Water Pump
Replaced Intake Manifold with IS Manifold
Replaced the Head with an IS Head with IS Cams and Double Springs.
Upgraded injectors to 17# Green tops
Upgraded to 173 ECU with a chip which was designed for this combination Block/head. I will include stock chip.
New oem motor mounts
New oem transmission mounts
Lightweight single mass flywheel
Rebuilt rear lsd with 4.10 gears and upgraded Porsche side plates.
stock clutch/pressure plate
Lower mileage transmission bought from Bavarian Auto Recycling in CA
Ebay polished stainless steel catback exhaust
2. Suspension
Bilstein Sport Shocks
Ireland Engineering Lowering Springs
Ireland Engineering rear spring spacers
Urethane Subframe Bushings
Urethane Rear control arm bushings
M3 offset oem front control arm bushings
Ireland Engineering fixed camber plates
E30 convertible front sway bar with urethane bushings (21mm)
Eibach three way adjustable rear sway bar with urethane bushings (16mm)
New Axxis Ultimate front and rear brake pads
Rebuilt power steering rack was installed last year.
Black painted bottle cap wheels with 195/60/14 Dunlop Star specs (about 60% tread)
Silver basket wheels with Hoosier 205/55/14 R6 for autocross track. These are probably good for one track day or a few autocrosses.
New radio with cd and aux input
Mtech 1 steering wheel
The bad:
Could use paint
Carpets stained
Seats are kinda beat up
Drivers side window comes off track.
Drivers side door lock not functional. I lock and unlock using the trunk lock.
Glove compartment removed. I do have it and can be reinstalled.
Cracked Dash
Radio Antennae broken
Sunroof works intermittently.
Idles a little funky right now because car has been sitting unused for three months but that should clear up with regular use.

The car is high mileage but has been very reliable. Doesn't smoke and starts up right away. I've done about 6 track days with it and have never had a mechanical issue. My instructor at my first track day with PCA at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park said that he couldn't believe how balanced and easy the car was to drive fast. I've since done Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, Fontana and a bunch of autocrosses. The car is an absolute blast on the track.
I'm asking $2000 OBO. Car located in Las Vegas. Clean title in hand.
Thanks,
JR
