That's pretty cool. What's the back story on it? I'm sure potential buyers would love to know more.

bought it from a guy who bought it from the original owners son. The original owner had passed away and the car was in a garage for 15 years. The guy i bought it from bought it 2 years ago and since then drove it 5,000 miles did the timing and water pump on it. This is probably the lowest mile e30 in the country for sale right now.

Too bad it's auto. I guess you could do a 5 speed swap but I wouldn't want to mess with a car this original. Hopefully it doesn't go to EAG. I'm all for making money/flipping cars…but when you buy 2 cars that are $10k ea on cl that the whole community saw and then post them on your website for $30k ea it just gives off the vibe that you think you're smarter than everyone else….

Yeah I talked with them and they low balled me so hard. That guy really does think he's smarter than everyone else.

That's quite a time capsule! Good luck with your sale. :)

You're doing the ebay ad wrong. You should start low at like $5,000 (with a reserve price of course) and let the bidding frenzy start so you get a chance of buyers out bidding each other in the last 12 hours. Putting $10K starting bid with a reserve is a BIG turnoff. Just my $0.02.

On October 12th, an 88' 325ix with 65K miles sold for $12,100, not a real comparison but gives you a ballpark figure of what to expect. I do expect yours to go above $12K+ easily.
