Here's the owner history:
Only 98k miles on engine and body (odometer has not broken yet)
Price: 6,000
Original owner sold the car to my boss(owner of Bavarian Werkstatte) a month ago and he has too many BMW projects so he offered the car to me and I couldn't pass it up. Since he has not registered the car, Amy is the only owner. So technically I'm the second owner if or when I sign the title or if u sign it before I do. So I'm either going to restore the seats and keep it or sell her like this.
The car has been serviced in our BMW shop since the original owner "Amy"moved to Utah a year ago. She started having a ps hose leak and we fixed the hoses. Then she came in because it was running a little past the middle mark, so we fixed the head gasket and timing chain gasket while in there along with other breather hoses, spark plugs, thermostat, water pump. When we got to the head gasket it didn't show any leaking from the gasket so it could have been a bad thermostat or water pump, even a air pocket as it was a hot summer last year 110+ after all . Amy was ok with it as these engines have that common problem with headgasket leaking coolant. Like my sisters red 91 318is that I just did couple months before.
Amy got the car new from when she lived in Germany and then moved to California . 97k original miles, soft fabric seats have worn badly in the middle but like new on bolsters. Got a quote from local upholster guy and it's ~600 for the restore. If I keep her I will do this eventually. Back seat needs it too, top and bottom. Dash has two big cracks. Hood has small dent and front left fender has one too. Rear bumper has some paint fade on the top. Front turn signal is cracked. Manual Sunroof black knob is gone. We also replaced the front shocks and rears are still good. Replaced the door lock actuator so the doors unlock everytime. New kumho tires less than 100 miles. There is a slight noise over big bumps and i think it's the end links a little loose. Car drives amazing and I love how it goes around corners.
Reason for selling:
I just have to many things to do to my e30 m3 (interior leather )and e39 m5 (brakes) to be spending money on this 318 beauty. Not in a hurry to sell. However the price will go up when I fix these small issues. Thought I would put her up since it might take a while to find the right future "second/third owner". Just detailed but I will clay bar it and wax it soon, just received oil change with 5w-30 and service. Few minor scratches here and there but might go away after I detail it some more.
You might have to text or call for pics if I can't get photo bucket to work. Call/text if you have any questions. Car has only 97k mi and it shows ! Especially as you drive it. 435-272-2920 Kyle
