From my time on this forum, I've learned that E30 guys are intense.
Many E30 cars end up with replaced and upgraded engines, transmissions, exhausts and seats, and soon after the car is used for drifting or is on the race track.
The 2-door models are especially popular.
To be the foundation of such a project, a car like that needs to mainly have a solid body, free of structural rust or major accident damage. The title needs to be clean.
I have precisely such a car, and I’m selling it. It’s a 1984 BMW 318i with a clean title.
It happens to have a motor and transmission but it’s the M10 that nobody likes, so as part of the deal I’m assuming you’re going to remove that and put it aside. As part of the deal, I’d like to come by at some point after that and pick those up for use on my 1977 BMW 320i.
It’s year-end and I need some cash, so I’m willing to let this car go for under $1000.
I’ve removed the exhaust, seats and the glove box, but I have seats and a glove box for it if you care.
The car almost starts but there’s something wrong with the injectors, I think, and I suspect it’s worth more as the basis for a drifting or race car than if it were a properly restored 318i.
