    1990 325is Brilliantrot

Please read through the post as there is a lot of information. Let me know if there are any questions I may answer, I will be as thorough as possible.

NOT FOR SALE. NOT FOR SALE. NOT FOR SALE.

IM KEEPING IT. I WILL BE CLEANING ALL THE PROBLEMS UP MYSELF AND THEN CONSIDER SELLING IT.

Quick story. About a year ago, my red E30 was totaled by an SUV. I looked for 4 months to find another late model, manual, red E30 which happens to be the car for sale. This car had been sitting in a garage for 9 years when I purchased it. I towed it back home, did the timing belt/water pump ect. As well as replaced the fuel tank and fuel pump. I've been driving the car ever since. I am the second owner.

    Exterior:
    -Vehicle is Brilliantrot.
-Paint is ok. After a detail it looks awesome. I wax it about once a month.
-Clean and 100% stock trim everywhere.
    -Brand new rear windshield.
-Rust is limited to through rust in license plate lights and surface rust on the bottom of front fenders by the wheel wells.
-Only ding or dent I see is on the hood. I could possibly have this taken care of.
-IS spoiler lip needs love or a new one with respray.

    Interior:
-The redeeming factor of this car.
    -Tan leather.
-No tears or cracks anywhere, driver seat has a nice patina and passenger seat is near perfect.
-NO airbag wheel, replaced with small diameter M-tech I.
-No heat or A/C. I believe a heater core is clogged, that's what happens when coolant doesn't move for 9 years.
-Alpine X-303 (I think) head unit with USB integration. Sounds great with premium sound system.
    -Uncracked dash.
-Power sunroof works perfect, no leaks.
    -JUST tinted 20% all around.
-New leather shift boot, e-brake boot, and ZHP shift knob.

    Drivetrain:
-Stock and powerful M20 with original 205,xxx miles.
-Original 5 speed car, no grinds.
-Factory 3.73 LSD that locks effectively.
-New seals, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, ect. in the last 3,000 miles. Have receipts. All OEM parts.
-Custom exhaust from cat-back. Has a magnaflow muffler, sounds glorious. Not too loud, not too quiet, just right.

    Suspension/Wheels:
-The demise of the car is right here.
-Haven't addressed these issues but it needs bushings and tires after sitting for 9 years in a garage.
-Have lemforder CA's, E30 M3 CA bushings, rear subframe bushings, sway bar end links included in sale.
    -Original basket weaves.
-Sounds like passenger rear wheel bearing is going out.

I drive the car nearly every day and it has never given me any problems. If the car doesn't sell quickly then I will most likely be addressing the suspension/tire issues myself and price will be less negotiable. I may even decide to keep the E30 after that!

I do not need to sell the car. This is kinda/sorta a feeler. Don't like the price, don't care.

    PRICE:
    $4800

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or more pictures IF you are a serious inquirer. Best way to contact me would be via call/text. I will try and add updated picture sometime this week.

    Thank you for looking,
    - Michal

doubt this will last very long..

also, just wanted to point out that you have a sunroof; not a moonroof as you mentioned.

Live with, ridden in, driven, wrenched, and even cleaned this car. One of the cleanest on the streets. If someone gets this they will not be disappointed.

No, that's not true. My S2000 has been "for sale" for a year now. It's because I don't want to sell it, but if someone wants it more than me, I'm willing to entertain the idea, and if so I'll just buy an Elise. It's too nice to just "get rid of." There are desperate sellers and there are people who love the cars they're selling and can afford to keep them if they want. I'd much rather keep my E30 than sell it to someone for less than it's worth to me, yet someone is in the process of buying it right now (and I'll be walking on foot and taking taxis till I figure something else out, lol).

Thanks for the positive (and negative) comments guys.

I don't need to sell it. But I will sell it for the right price. That price happens to be $4800.

I'll play the devils advocate here and ask for more pictures of the condition of the paint as well as an engine bay shot.

Not for sale. I will be cleaning up the vehicle myself and then consider putting it up on the market again.

I look forward to the new ad. I was thinking about trying to visit the car sometime soon after I got back to Alabama (this weekend). You planning on replacing the wheel bearing and subframe bushings?
