*SOLD! 2002 Volkswagen 337 GTI 159K -$6k OBO. North Port, FL

    *SOLD!

    CLEAN 159K 2002 VW 337 GTI - $6k OBO
My buddy wrote everything below but doesn't have a R3V account so I'm posting this for him!
He's looking to get into an E28 or E30, so this is his first step!

Click here for the complete album!

This is an actual 337, not a clone.

I've had the car for a good 2 years now and I love it, though I'm looking to get into something different.
The previous owner kept it very clean and I have continued the habit, that being said it isn't 100% as any car is not.
It has 159K on the body and block, but 10k on the new head and runs like a champ!
So let's start with what has been done.
    • APR Tuned, 3" Downpipe, Carbonio intake
    • Forge Turbo inlet pipe
    • AEB big port head (rebuilt with about 10k miles on it)
    • Ceramic brake pads (Akebono)
    • Tucked away some components in the engine bay SAI delete, windshield washer delete, etc. (Most of this I can give you with the car)
    • My 034 PCV hose just crapped out as you can see in the pictures I makeshift repaired the vacuum lines but it works perfectly
    • Koni Yellows just put on about six months ago with some H&R race springs to improve but keep it in the 337 stance
    • Timing belt/water pump was done when I swapped the AEB head on
    • Dipped the rub strips and center caps so you can pull it off easily if you want to go with the purist look
    • I put glass lenses on the headlights for obvious reasons (they look damn good)

    Minor Issues
    • Headliner and door card sag as per MK4 interior (only defects as far as interior goes)
    • Normal amount of rock chips on the hood and front bumper that are typical for this amount of miles
    • ABS pump weeps (I have a new one to come with the car to spare you $600 on a new one)
    • Wheels have some peeling on the chrome and very slight rash (how I received the car)
    • MK4 dead pull on driver door on occasion (just Fonz it)
    • Front parking lights are disconnected because the housings melted in the bulb holders

I also have a few goodies that come with.
APR 3" exhaust up until the muffler and stock DP, engine covers and documented maintenance from PO, CATCAMS camshafts (I believe the 3651 models)
If I'm forgetting anything I'll update but this is a very clean buy for a loving VW enthusiast!

Car is located in North Port, FL as stated in the title

Weird lighting makes it look like the back seat has a stain but it does not!

bump for an awesome car. I was on the waiting list (#1 at my dealer) for this car back in 2002, but the car got stuck in germany for an airbag issue. I bought my old A4 instead, and still regret it. glws!

What a weird coincidence, I lost out on a 2002 A4 1.8T and ended up in a MK4 GTI silver, could not wait for a 337.

bump, love these cars, remember when they were new!

My pet peeve is when people list cars other than e30s. But because your friend wants to get into an e30 ill let it slide. glws:)
