Me and the PO owner are pretty good friends. We were on a drive to the coast through the backroads of Corvallis, with other BMWs, and coming around a corner there were several cars stopped due to pedestrians crossing the road to head to the river/water or some sort. He hit his brakes but still ended up rear ending a truck in front of him. No damage to the truck but the passengers side fender and bumper had some minor damage. The kidney grills and light grills were toast. I think it also broke the bracket for the radiator so we had to zip tie it to stay on.

I believe the other "accident" was actually a really bad keying job. Someone really went to town on it and I think that's when he decided he was going to change the paint color.
