Not Mine. Alpine Vert/Cardinal Top and Interior

I came across this eye catcher searching for an IX and thought I would share. Maybe overpriced but no pictures of interior to tell.

    wayyy over priced.
early US verts are the lest desirable of all e30s. then add on the auto and you have a $3500 car.

I would not say early US verts are the least desirable (swap to mtech 1). I actually like an auto due to most manuals are beaten on. I do agree that it is priced high. Its at a Dealer so........

not sure why they are the least desirable, but that price is high and no interior shots? Auto for some is more desirable, though I do prefer a 5spd. I also worry about people beating the 5spd.

let me know what it is like swapping a kit onto a car, that is worth more than the car. most people cant afford mtech1.

srsly how do you guys not get this.

              desirability:

              Mtech1>mtech2>Euro>plastic>US metal bumpers
              5spd>auto
              pre 90 no heated seats
pre 91 no power top. (yes i had a working power top vert and it was nice!)

Price is overkill and that top is sucks donkey nuts. Agreed that early model 'verts are hideous but if you had an Mtech 1 kit, you could pull it off. Affording an Mtech 1 kit is a different story.

By no means am I trying to be d-bag, but.........
Whats the BFD with MTech packages over "base" verts. Its only badging and that optional white leather. Performance wise they are the same.
I live in DC, so plastic bumpers would be a nightmare, in regards to other a-holes parking.
Auto vs. 5spd really is driver pref.
My 1988 Vert has heated seats. Not all pre/post 1990 verts had heated seats, as that was an option/part of a package upgrade.
Bump that power top. When I was shopping for my e30, I had no pref of model year, until EVERY 91-93 had a half working power top, or some whack instructions on how to use it because there wasn't a manual handle for them.

What do you r3vers consider "beating" a 5 speed transmission?

                    I'm not being facetious..

Oh yeah! I forgot to comment on the original car that sparked this thread. I saw that joker on ebay last year when I was shopping for a vert. The interior is fresh-ish, except they took an e30 4-spoke steering wheel and did some janky two-tone (cardinal/black) leather wrapping. Also, where are the fog lights? I passed right on by this one.

IMO beating a manual transmission involves no usage of a clutch, everything else is normal/acceptable use.

I would rather have a girl with big boobs than mosquito bites anyday. ;D You may need to do some searching on Mtech equipped cars if you want to get techincal. Heated seats can be added easy. The connection is in the fuse box.
