    that interior..... :(

here is a tip: it looks like you have a nice car but you will need way better photos and a better written ad to make your sale. the pix you have there are pretty (meant to be read-really) bad. i can't even tell if the center part of your seats are red, orange, burgundy or tan. i can't even tell if its an auto or manual. somehow i didn't see that important info in your description? it looks like an auto with a manual shift boot? what about mileage? does the a/c work? does it have any leaks? did you get it aligned after all that suspension work? has it been repainted? are all the body panels original? has it ever been in any accidents? even if it came from california, it can still have rust. have you ever taken out the seats and lifted up the carpet to look at the floor pans? almost every cabrio has rust there from leaky tops and wet carpet. the list goes on and on....especially when you are talking about a car in the price range you are asking for this automobile.

get signed up with one of those picture web sites like image shack. throw away your cheap cell phone, borrow a digital camera from someone. shoot about 15 or 20 good pics of your car that are not in direct sunlight. a cloudy day or perhaps do it in the morning or evening when there is a lot of light but not direct. download your pics to the web site and use the "post in forum" option to make urls of your pix. copy them and add to your posting above.

take a look at other for sale ads here and find a couple that you think are really good. then use those as a template to write your own ad. i think you will get much better results.

here is an example of a local craigs ad i saw today while i was pursuing the net. the pics are perhaps a little dark, but otherwise they are pretty damn good. his description makes him sound like an honest guy who isn't hiding anything.

see how he shot the corners of the car? see how he took pics so you can look up the side of the car to see if there are dents and dings? notice how the pictures are not from like 50 feet away? notice how he posted in his ad everything that is wrong with the car? notice how he took a close up of the rash on the front bumper so potential buyers can get a good idea of blemishes?

from what i can see by looking closely at your microscopic photos, i can tell your car has a couple minor boo-boo's. why don't you post them in your ad? when i see a description of an old car that doesn't list at least something, i always think to myself the owner is probably hiding something and hoping that potential sellers won't ask the right(wrong) questions.

just put yourself in the seller's shoes: if you saw this ad would you be interested in this car? you are asking 8500/10000/11200 dollars for this thing. tech 2 or not, that is a very top of the market price for an e30. i'm not saying it isn't worth your asking price. to be honest, by what is posted here i have no idea. to command that kind of money, your car is probably going to be pretty pristine. think of yourself as an attorney selling your side of the story to a jury.

good luck with your sale and welcome to the forum.

i am not in any way trying to pick on you. we really want you to be successful in selling your car.

ps: you say the door cards are mtech? judging by the photos, it looks to me like you have red, orange, burgundy/tan panels that match the seats? if you have the mtech panels separately, please send me a pm. i would be interested in them.

Man you really put some effort into that reply, I concur with everything said, including sad face for replacing the original mtech cloth on the seats, shame.

He is a first time poster, so there's your mulligan.

I agree why did you ruin the interior? And I just saw this add on cl about two min ago and that the same thing. If you really wanna sell a car you gotta put effort in your add don't just throw it on the internet and hope for people to jump on it.

I've seen worse interior, though I wouldn't trade my cracking but not ripped interior for that...

GLWS OP take some nice pics like people said. Interior is really easy to change so shouldn't be a problem with the sale.

If the body/paint is solid it's likely worth the ticket with the top and wheels. Very uncommon and desirable color.
