For sale is an 1988 BMW 320i E30 touring.
This is a truly exceptional example of an e30 touring and has been preserved extremely well for its age. This car really stands out for how original and unmolested it is. The car has no aftermarket modifications.
I purchased this car when I was on study abroad in Amsterdam in 2013 and after I finished my semester I decided to bring it back with me stateside.
-246K kilometers on the clock, which is approximately 156K miles. The cluster works perfectly and odometer shows correct mileage.
-BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) certification is done.
-Smog check passed.
-Clear California Title in hand.
-I purchased the car from the second owner, so I am the third. Previous owner serviced the car at BMW dealership in Amersfort (Holland). There are receipts for oil changes and maintenance check-ups from 1988 till current oil change. Original manual is also present
-New spark plugs
-Drives/brakes/shifts well!
-All electronics work
-Slicktop no sunroof
-Uncracked Dash
-New clutch and slave cylinder
-New windshield
-It originally had M20B20 with an automatic transmission but was upgraded to a M20B25 with a G260 5-speed transmission. Mileage on the transmission and engine is close to 180K miles.
I carefully picked this car after checking 5 or 6 tourings that were on the market at the time in Holland--all of them had severe rust EXCEPT this one!
There are a few tiny rust spots--one on the drivers' side windshield and few on the trunk lid in the very corner. That is something one can expect from an E30 that has been on the road for the past 25 years, especially a touring as they are imported from countries that snow.
The Diamondswartz paint on this car is original and in very good condition. No faded clear coat, no accidents, no paintwork. Most e30's have faded or flaking clear coat and most tourings have had or need rust repair that requires painting the car. All the panel gaps are straight.
The Grey euro fabric is matching on all seats and in excellent condition. The driver's seat is a comfort seat and the passenger is a sport seat. That is how I bought it. Being a euro car it also has the euro clock and Euro Gauge cluster in Kilometers.
-15" Euroweaves with Nogaro centers and polished lips. All caps are present and tires have good tread.
You are welcome to contact me with any questions at 619-792-7810, my name is Constantine.
If you are local and would like to see and drive the car, that can be arranged. Additionally if you'd like to have somebody else locally inspect the car, which can be accommodated as well.
Prive is $12,000 or best reasonable offer.
