Black 1996 328is coupe. Tan interior with clean black seats front and back. ODO just rolled 175k. Let's get to it.
The good:
Clean black paint
Crack free dash
M3 steering wheel
French high beams
Aux input in stock radio
Relatively new vmax coils <5k miles
Active autowerke strut bar up front
ABS/ASC deleted with oem parts
SAI deleted correctly with a simulator *not sure what brand, it was on the car when i bought it\
There is an exhaust on it, though i'm not sure what brand. It was there when I bought the car, and sounds excellent IMHO
Drilled/Slotted front rotors <5k miles
Pads at the same time as rotors
M3 trailing arm bushings in the rear end
Subframe bushings were done <5k miles
Every panel still has a vin tag *car has not been wrecked and paint appears to be original
The bad:
Two speakers are blown
One axle makes a bit of noise, i never replaced it because it never got worse *I have a new axle and will fix it if it's a deal breaker
Two TINY bubbles of surface rust by the trunk gasket *they are completely invisible with the trunk shut, and are the ONLY TWO SPOTS OF RUST ON THE CAR
Drivers door card is missing the leather insert *once again, it didn't bug me but i can find a new card if its a deal breaker
In the end, this is a very very nice car, and I have no problem holding on to it if the right trade doesn't come along. I am a mechanic in an indy euro shop and can vouch for the fact that the car runs extremely well at all times. I have never seen a check engine light out of it, and have used it as a daily for 10k miles. All the car needs to look the part is a set of wheels. As per rules, my price is 5500 outright, but bear in mind that I would seriously prefer a trade. I'm open to pretty much any e30/e28 as long as it's a stick. Text me with offers, or if you need any more pics/info on my car 845-240-8124.
