My buddy is looking to get out of his MK4 Jetta and get his feet wet with an E30. The only things he wants is it to be an 88+ so he can either easily swap plastic bumpers on (for some 88's), or just have plastic bumpers to begin with. No verts please. The idea is for a swap so he would rather have a manual to begin with but the engine is whatever.

He may consider a trade but would like a little more car than described (running, decent overall etc) valued around $4k. He has a MK4 Jetta with 200k with an awesome black interior/front mount etc. Here's his ad from our local VW Facebook group:
So a couple months ago I traded my wagon for this Jetta, I'm trying to go back to bmw so this is now for sale. Since I did the trade I did the following maintenance
•new timing belt / water pump
•ecs dog bone mount
•new mass air flow
•2.0t coil conversion from Ecs with the coils
•new spark plugs
•new n75 valve
•new ac compressor
• cAr has the cel on and every time I scan it both the o2 sensors are throwing a code.
•I also put on an eip front mount intercooler with plans to then the ecu and go with a an apr exhaust but I have since put that on hold as it's up for sale.
• car is sitting on fk coilovers with 20 mm spacers in the rear and 5mm spacers in the front. It has 205,400 miles and will go up. It does have a lot of miles but the motor is strong and hasn't failed me since I have been dailying it. Also the car has a clean black leather interior.
