It sucks...the guy I bought it from apparently gave his young child some normal fencing pipe and a welder and the child then went to town...I haven't had time to cut it out yet but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND cutting it out ASAP. That's why I didn't post anything about the car having some great cage bc it is a horrible excuse for a cage. Its the type of cage that would be more harmful than safe.

Anyone down for a project? Rust free, clean title for the 325is. Bodies both in good shape. All wheels in great condition. 325i Sedan has very straight body panels and what appears to be original paint in need of some attention. 2 extra wheels also

fwiw, ive spoken with this seller and he was very helpful walking me through both cars. im in need of a cheap e30 coupe, but unfortunately I just can't pull the trigger on getting both cars at the moment.

Are you sure it's actually a real 325is and not just a regular 325i coupe? From the pics it looks like a 325i coupe, not an is (steering wheel, rear speaker deck with round speaker openings, plain rear trunklid with no lip, etc).

Is the sunroof electric or does it have a crank? Does the OBC have 13 buttons or a lot fewer buttons?

Do you have pics of the doorjam information placard and of the 325 emblem on the trunk?

If you're basing it's 325is-ness solely on a Carfax report just know that Carfax erroneously reports all regular 89 325i coupes as being 325is.
