Want to buy the best e30 $3000-4000 can buy (MA)

I'm looking to try a new method of buying an e30...

I'm highly motivated to buy a new car and have around $3500 to spend on something nice. I'm looking to upgrade from (and sell!) my decent 1986e and get into something a little more finished.

I actually don't have a big preference in the flavor of e30 I want... e, i, ix, is, es, or convertible. Doesn't matter. As long as it's in good shape and fun to drive, the paint doesn't have to be perfect. I do slightly prefer 2 door cars. I don't want it if it's slammed or overly modded.

I want a good base to daily drive and build off of and maintain when needed. I've been daily driving mine for a few years and know what it takes to keep one on the road and what they're with.

Are you willing to travel? I have an 89 325i that I have owned for 9 years and is very well maintained. Has clear coat issues on the paint but is a very reliable DD. pm me if interested and you would like further info!
