    WTB: E36 in Vancouver, Canada

    Hey y'all,

Long time lurker, first time buyer. Serious buyer at that.

Been hunting for an E36 for a while now and CL has been a lot of time wasted and let downs thus far.

I've looked at a couple through bimmer forums and getting closer but nothing to bring a wad of cash with me yet.

I'd prefer something that is enthusiast owned and cared for/modded (up to a point).

It'll be my daily (for now) but also my first bimmer so go easy on me mmmk?

Pretty specific about what I'm looking for and we can talk numbers if you have something to show.

    1. '96-'98 328i (4 door),
    2. '96-'99 328is

    Here's my checklist:
    Manual a must!
    M-package preferred.
M3 front bumpers would be a sweet bonus.
    LSD factory or otherwise preferred.
Properly maintained with 250K or less (give or take).
Accident free, no rebuilds (I may consider less than 2K damage depending on repairs).
    Working AC.
Clean interior with no rips or sagging headliners.
Ideally cooling system (water pump, rad) replaced at some point of history.
Open to cars with suspension/exhaust mods but not looking for anything stanced or VPD db meter triggers.

As for colours (yes I'm that picky), I've got my heart set on Silver on black but black on black, blue on black, or Madiera/Techno Violet on black, work for me too.

I hope this isn't too much of a unicorn I'm looking for.

Let me know if you have anything that hits most if not all these marks and I'm ready to pull the trigger like yesterday.

I'm in Vancouver but will be on the island next week so I'd be willing to head out that way for the right vehicle.

    Thanks in advance!

    1. a year 1996 is same as 1997 so why not include 1996?
    2. a year 1999 328i is not E36
    3. manual sedan is kind of rare in US, maybe not in Canada.
    4. black interior is kind of rare, most of them are tan

little bit yes, it is probably harder to find one in Canada than in US

Thanks for the corrections. Edited original post.

I know manual sedans are rare, I think more so in US than Canada but I've looked at 3 of them here so far and I'm hoping they aren't the only 3 left kicking around.

Black interior also doesn't seem to be that rare from what I've come across.

Good things come to those who wait I guess.
