OK folks I decided I will be selling my 84 318i. As some of you folks know I just got this car around January 06. And started the restoration process. Here's the basics.
Its an 84 318i with a 5 speed tranny and 196K on the stock original motor.
I have to admit this takes me back and forth to work every day and drives good. Pics taken last week.
I bought this car knowing it needed some work to be done. I will go through the list whatever I can remember on top of my head. I did keep all receipts will hand everything to the new owner.
- 196K on the motor. Since I drive alot I have been changing the oil almost every month actually.
- New Windshield (SafeliteAuto)
- Replaced Driveshaft, Center Bearing, and Guibo (Good Used Parts)
- New Cat-back OEM Spec Exhaust System (Mufflex, Trenton NJ)
- New Misc Interior Parts: Shift Knob, Emblems, Boot, Etc...(Dealer OEM Parts)
- New Ball Joints (Dealer OEM Parts)
- New Thermostat (Dealer OEM Parts)
- New Clutch Slave Cylinder (Dealer OEM Parts)
- New Front Rotors/Pads (Dealer OEM Parts) - Not Installed Yet!
- New KW Springs 55/35
- New Monroe Sensatrac Front/Rear Shocks (AdvanceAuto)
- New Spark Plugs (AdvanceAuto)
- Used 15" Borbet Wheels and Dunlop Tires (Lots of rubber left)
- Flushed and Filled Rear Diff Fluid (Local Shop)
- New Paintjob (Maaco)
- New 320mm Steering Wheel (Ebay)
- New Air Filter (Ebay)
- New Battery with Warranty (Walmart)
- Recenlty passed NJ Inspection. (Good til 2008)
- Always used 93 Octane Gasoline
*** Just a few days ago one of the blades on the fan broke and I haven't driven it since. I don't want the other blades to brake off or damage the water pump. I just bought the replacement fan and fan clutch and will include it in the deal. All you have to do is install it.
I think thats all for now. But I will check my receipts for more stuff I did to it.
Here's the before picture when I first bought it.

Here are the pics I took last week.

Just an FYI all the basics works. Lights, Turn Signals, Radio, Sunroof, Windows, etc... It passed NJ inspection folks.
Asking $1000.00
For more info feel free to email me at mjcorp7652@yaho.com. I'll be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
