First and foremost because I know this drives most people insane.
The car is BRONZIT and an AUTOMATIC. Calm down, sit down.

$2500 Or Best Offer, Emphasis on the Or Best Offer part.
1988 BMW 325i Convertible
Automatic, I have a manual transmission that could be included for a 5 speed swap with the sale if your offer is fair.
~190K miles
Fresh head
new coolant hoses
new vacuum lines
new fuel lines
new timing belt
new water pump
new timing belt tensioner
new coolant
new valve cover gasket
recent valve train adjustment
new tires and wheels (Borbet)
Good brakes
shifts smoothly
drives very well.
Top is in great shape, plastic window is clear, no rips or tears or burns or gouges. Windows go up AND down. Wow. Dashboard is mostly crack-free (one tiny crack starting to form in a place you can't see especially if you are driving or riding in the car. Honestly, the only person that would see the crack is the police officer when he's checking your inspection and/or registration sticker for pulling you over for doing 30 over the speed limit in your new to you E30 vert. And in that case you're lucky it's a crack in the dash and not crack-cocaine but I digress.
Needs:
Struts, Steering Rack Boot (I can also include an E36 steering rack if you'd prefer),
Odometer Gears (stuck at 187K), 5 speed swap (again a manual transmission and pedal set can be included if your offer isn't ridiculous)
New Battery (I can jump start it and drive it and then if I let it sit for hours it won't start on this battery but then that is to be expected as this battery isn't new), Recently I drove the car about 1000 miles to Connecticut and back overnight with no hiccups including multiple stops for bathroom breaks, only three fuel stops (one of which was to take a two hour nap) and made it back to the house the following morning.
Car also needs one spot of surface rust taken care of on the rear driver's side quarter panel. There is no other rust on this vehicle and from what I can tell, I am the third owner. Judging from the fact that the couple I bought it from knew the previous owner by name and I found the original documentation for his acceptance of the vehicle at delivery.
The heated seats are very comfortable sport seats but could use re-upholstering.
So make me an offer or give me what I am asking. I am not interested in trades unless it is for a Roundie BMW 2002 Automatic (1969-1973).
I suppose I would trade this car for your E30 M3. ;D
I don't want to have to part out this car because I'm lazy, make me an offer.
