    WTB: 325ix

    Prefer, in order of importance:
    - 5spd
    - plastic bumper
    - coupe
    - minimal/surface only rust
    - red

not concerned with mileage so long as its been maintained well. not concerned with small dings/dents/scratches, minor electrical issues or not perfect interior. just want a mechanically reliable car that looks good from 20ft away.

i know how rare these cars are with those desired options, i bought and sold one last year myself (http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=311588) so I am willing to pay a premium for a good example. Unfortunately the one I had last year turned out to be a total rust bucket but otherwise I loved it :).

I am located in southern CT so the closer to zip 06905 the better but am certainly willing to fly out somewhere to drive it home or even have it shipped sight unseen. I havent been screwed over by the good people of this community the few times I've had to do that so I'm not afraid to do it again if needed, for the right car.

if its pre '89, must have original dash, or at least vin plate. CT verifies vin # on dash plate matches vin on title. if its >='89, would be idea if it would pass basic emissions test (no cel, no cat delete, etc) but I can always get that fixed.

Thanks for your help getting me back into an E30 again.

Hi. Another member sent me a link to your post. I have a red '91 325IX coupe, 5spd, gray interior (well, mostly) for sale. Just had the timing belt changed last week and detailed. You can see some pics at http://www.fastgeek.net/325ix/ (The receipts are mainly to show what was done; if we put 10k on the car since then I'd be shocked)

Problem is, it's in the San Jose, CA area and I do have a few people sniffing around locally.

Send me a PM and we'll go from there.

*edit @ 1739 PST - added more pics & subscribed to thread*

        Regards,
        Jason / fastgeek

Correction. Make that 7,159 miles since April 26, 2005. So perhaps 8k since the parts in the receipt were replaced.
