92 325i E30 Convertible Alpine White on Lotus White - SOLD

SOLD - Former M-Tech 2 Appearance Package Car. Stock except original MTech 2 body panels have been replaced with standard plastic bumpers & IS lip spoiler. Automatic. Still has Lotus White interior, LSD and 14" weaves with white centers.

168k miles, working odometer, crack-free dash, working A/C, new battery, brakes and rear window. Rust-free California car shipped to me in NJ in 2011. Timing belt replaced 21k ago. All s/n matching body panels except front fenders which were replaced due to holes for MT2 front pods. I have original front fenders which buyer may have with car if desired (one s/n matching & one DOT). PO replaced front seat bolsters with vinyl, I installed new leather rear seat back and re-dyed all seats with leatherique. Runs well.

Electric top not functioning, I have a used replacement electric top motor which will come with car. SRS airbag not functioning. Needs tires. Car has a fair amount of dings and a dent on each lower quarter behind doors (see photos). Front end paint was intended to be temporary pending full respray and is not great quality, but it looks good from 10 feet.

MT2 Kit was used to build this

I know I could ask more for it, but I would just like to get it moved quickly. I expect if I were to list it for $4k it would not sell until Spring. I have 3 other E30s and no garage space to keep this thru winter.

The car you are selling has the original mt2 jack which is rare as fuck. i would suggest you put that in the car you built so you dont mess up your side skirts when you need to change a tire.

Great price! I actually like it without the MT@ kit.

If this car was in California I would have bought it yesterday.

                              MT2 Vert Jack

I took pics of the jacks from all of my cars to compare

Far left is the E30 MT2 convertible jack
Next is the standard E30 convertible jack
Next is the standard E30 coupe jack
Far right is the E30 M3 jack

I'm curious if there is a special jack for MT1 or MT2 coupes?

Here is a second phot which shows the difference on the MT2 vert jack, basically looks like the standard vert jack is carved out and a plate is welded in. Other than the extra base, it looks like someone with welding skills could make the conversion without much trouble.
