Guys,
I hate to do this, but I am selling my 1987 Burgundrot E30 coupe. The car is mechanically very sound, and has no rust on the chassis, but does need paint. My plan was to repaint her in the spring, and if she doesn't sell now, that's what I'll do. She is a GREAT sporty DD, and I'm going to miss her :(
The good:
* Clean chassis, no rust!
* Euro bumpers
* Euro Smilies with HIDs & City Lights
* M50NV in great running condition
- Recently replaced a weeping oil pan gasket
- Recently replaced a weeping valve cover gasket
* G250 with a short-shifter (Z3, IIRC). Lovely shift action!
* Aluminum Zionsville Motorsports radiator (a $500 part on its own!)
* ZHP weighted shift knob
* Z3 steering rack (from the 1.9-liter car), 2.7 turns lock-to-lock. An excellent upgrade over the stock rack!
* GORGEOUS Recaro LX-C seats. VERY rare, and awesome seats to sit in. Sporty, yet all-day comfortable
* New rear swaybar droplinks
* 2.93 LSD
* Bilstien Sports
* Bavauto springs
* BBS wheels with great condition Blizzaks
* Great condition grey carpet (just swapped that in)
* NEW grey floor mats
* 2.5" or 3" exhaust (can't remember which), single pipe into a little cherry bomb muffler - LOVE the way she pops & crackles on the over-run
* New rear brake pads
* SS brake lines going on up front this weekend (had a set from my track car laying around, so, why not?)
* Popout rear windows
* Maplight mirror (installing in a day or 2)
The not-so-good:
* Needs paint. The paint was bad, and I started sanding off the top layer. There is primer down on the parts of the car where I'd stripped off the paint.
* Dashboard is cracked, although I have a pretty clean one to go with the car
* There is a radio in the car, but it's not hooked up yet. I can take care of that if needed
* The A/C was converted to R134A, but the guy who did it didn't replace the receiver/dryer of the valve under the dash. I was using a WalMart A/C charger kit, which lasted about 3 months. Then the condenser fan went out. I HAVE replaced the condenser fan with a working unit!
And the pics:

Car is located in Kansas City, Missouri. She's a great little car that I wouldn't hesitate to drive cross country.
