    1986 325es FS - Halethorpe, MD - $1200/OBO - SOLD

    SOLD

1986 325es, alpineweiss 1, manual transmission, 200k+ miles, redone cardinalrot interior, chipped.

Asking $1200, but willing to negotiate by removing items from the car, such as the interior.

    Pros:
redone seats (more taurusrot than cardinal)
    door cards in great shape
    working power sunroof
    manual trans
LSD diff (I forget the ratio)
    clear title
    drove/stopped just fine
chipped DME which pulled well for an E
    ABS delete
shadowlined trim (with paint, after the factory)
    ANSA exhaust
    new carpet

    Cons
: not currently running (was last year, videos to prove it, has been sitting since, issue is no spark)
    sloppy shifter
rust in floor pans abated with fiberglass repair (seems decent, no further rust)
small water leak in passenger floor pan
    some clearcoat peeling on trunk
    ding in RF fender
    no ES valence

Why it's for sale: simply no more time for it, between race car projects (originally purchased to be a shell for a track car) and extremely limited space due to new tow vehicle (MCI bus)

    Pictures of the good things:

Pics of the bad (Rust has since been cleaned/fiberglassed, no pics of the FG work):

Feel free to make an offer, you'd be surprised how willing I am to sell the car.

Plan to work on the no start this weekend. Don't make me fix the car and subsequently raise the price.

There is plenty of local interest in the interior, but if you want to buy the car you are welcome to do so.

great price. I'd almost fly up there, fix the car and drive it back down ;)

Thanks, and thanks for the advice. Have yet to look in to the no spark issue as it has been raining and coldish. If it starts the price will be 100% firm.

Lets get this moved to a r3v'er as I put the car up on CL @$1400 a couple of hours ago and have had a couple of inquiries.

                  Edit:

Car has been sold, will be picked up tomorrow, if for some reason they don't show I'll revise this thread. Still haven't sold a car through r3v, sad.

Funny, that's the first car on here that I've seen that also had rust above the heat shield. Just finished patching mine with 'glass as well. Seems solid.
