the good:
KW 55/55mm springs
Bilstien sports
bimmerworld lifetime aluminum RSMs
ATE powerdisc front rotors
mhw smoked turnsignals
euro bumpers
euro 15in basket weaves w/good tires(1 weave has a slight bend on the outer lip. finish is fading on only 1 of the wheels)
z4 2.5 SSK with new bushings, feels great
tan leather shift boot that matches teh seats and door panels
black painted door pulls and map pockets
Vynal sport seats
panasonic head unit
new exhaust inlcuding the cat, all the way back
new passenger fender, not painted however
front windows and sunroof are power
new parts replaced to try to fix the problem(explained down more):
spark plugs
plugs wires
distirbutor cap and rotor
fuel filter
both fuel pumps
new/used AFM
fuel pump relay
coolant temp sensor
some other temp sensor
fuel pressure regulator
been using fuelinjectorcleaner/dry gas every other fillup almost
some new fuel lines.
new additions march 1 06
recently did sea foam
cleaned up battery terminals and sparyed protectant
the bad:
cracked dash
ODO doesnt work, tach works but doesnt read corretly for an m10.
was repainted at some point and looks good but not right up close, passenger fender needs painting, a couple small dents here and there like any 21yr old car
sunroof leaks a little, can be fixed easily with a new gasket
exhaust leak from the manifold gasket. I have a new gasket to give you.
Door locks dont work correctly but you can lock the car
hood latch doesnt work, but you can still open the hood
The running issue:
The car studders under load only at random times. It used to seem it would do it only when it was really cold out and the car was cold then it would go away. Now it seems to be doing it when its warm too. When you go WOT the problem goes right away usually.
When the car does its studdering issue, sometimes the idle will drop very low.
When starting the car after not driving it for a little it cranks for a little and you have to give it a little gas, but it will start every time.
When the car does not do this studdering problem it really runs like a champ tho, It pulls very strong and feels alot better than anyother m10 318i that ive driven.
Overall, the car runs great when the problem is not happening. I've already changed tons or parts that it could be and still havent solved the problem, but the car does run better because of the new parts. I dont have the car knowledge or the money to keep on trying to fix the problem. Chances are is its a very simple thing that i probably just looked over. Anyways due to all the money that ive put into the suspension, parts replaced, euro weaves and euro bumpers, im asking 1900obo. Located and central NJ and southern NJ.
