    FS - totaled 1987 325 parts car

Banged up my Eta last week... I just got the call from the insurance company saying it is in fact totaled. If anyone is interested in purchasing it for a parts car they're welcome to contact me via this thread or email - pgaboriault at gmail dot com

It's pretty much all stock. It does have basketweaves on there w/ 3 good Nokian snow tires (one was slashed in the sidewall) and a bavarian autosport chip in the ecu. I have another set of bottlecaps in good condition at my parents home. It has 325i headers, catalytic converter and cat-back exhaust. the headers and cat are in great shape, the cat-back, ehhh, not so much.

I'm NOT going to buy it back myself and part it out... I would, but I have no resources to store/dismantle it. I'm simply putting this out there in the event that someone wants to purchase it from me for the buy-back price (i don't know what it is yet), have it towed to them and part it out themselves.

Damage is to the driver's side door ass seen in the pics below:

Just received an email from KCBengal at yahoo...

Figured i'd answer your question here.

For the car itself, I'm just looking for the insurance buy-back price which i still don't know yet. Once i find out i'll let you all know. If more than one person is interested it'll go to the highest bidder.

As much as I'd LIKE to make money off this deal to offset my losses (which is alot), I don't think I'll be doing that.

Thanks for the concern guys... the Firemen, EMT's, & Staties that showed up all asked me about 5 times each "You SURE you're ok?". One of the firemen even said when I told him I was driving "No seriously... WHO WAS DRIVING THAT CAR?"

Two bruises - one on my shoulder blade, one on my hip... two tiny little nicks - one on my right hand, one on my left... that's it. Took me a while to get over how lucky i was to get out of it as good as i did... Had I been in a "cheap" car, I'm highly suspect I wouldn't have come out of it w/o a broken leg, damaged hip or something.

standard speakers, standard stereo, pre 88 front end (no lip), no fogs, no spoiler.

Just a reminder, this sale is for the car as a whole, I'm not parting it out. Don't have the resources (time, space etc) to do so, otherwise I would.

This would be a great purchase if you were interested in building a 2.7i motor & needed the bottom end, if you wanted to do a 5 speed transmission swap, needed alot of bits & pieces from under the hood of a 2.7, or just wanted to spend some time dismantling the thing & parting everything out for a profit.

                            UPDATE:

Talked to my dad today who talked to the insurance company. Although the buy-back was REDICULOUSLY cheap, he has decided it is in my best interest to let them take it and cut me a nice little check.

Lets just say I love Commerce Insurance... according to my father the check is enough to buy his e34 outright from him. :pimp:

Sorry to those that were interested... luckilly there wasn't too much interest in the car.
