FS: Unrestored 320i sport in unbelievable condition

Just saw this posted and it is amazing! Not my car, just a fan and thought I would share.

By far, the nicest example of a 320i sport I have ever seen.

Those e21 sport seats kill any e30 seat ever made.

                In my opinion..

Tom Cruise (after he started acting in his teens) had one just like that as his first car

                  ...just some useless info :)
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Does the bidding look suspicious? Someone with only two transactions bumped the bidding from $15K to $19K, and it looks like the high bidder had bid $6K higher six days before the auction was even scheduled to end, instead of waiting to see how the bidding shakes out in the final days.

Well, the bids were real...Car sold for $22,500 to a collector in the South.

By the way Randy, think you know the Seller.

Yeah somebody really wanted that car ! I'm astounded that such a perfect example still exists.

Coincidentally, i almost bought a 320i Sport as my first BMW about 20 years ago from a good friend who had a reputable Euro used car lot in Marina Del Rey and raced 2002's in club racing. It was brigth orange and had the same sport seats and steering wheel, and it still wasn't in as good of condition as the silver one in this auction. It was the first BMW i'd ever driven and i really really enjoyed the test drives. Unfortunately it was out of my price range so i had to pass on it.

Now i'm wondering who the seller is?

Well, he moved up North about a year ago and has a cute little German name. Apparenly he can drive a Mini fairly well, too.

He is a VERY good friend of the CI's for the LA BMW CCA Chapter.

                              Ring any bells yet?
