Hey guys, this is my first post on r3v. So help me out as much as you can.
I've been a BMW lover for about 2 years now, and I've finally decided to buy an e30. My best friend bought an e30 about 2 years ago and we fell in love with them not long after. I love that e30 so much I've finally decided I want one of my own. I may not know everything about them, but I know enough to know what it's worth and what I'm getting myself into.
So, what I'm looking for is a late model, but I'm not opposed to an early model in good condition. It must be manual! I like alpine white the most, but I'm also interested in black or delphin grey. But color isn't a huge factor in it, but I'm not looking for red, because my friend's in red. I'm very interested in the ix, but an is or a regular 325i is fine with me or even a 325e, but I'm less interested in the e. I'm not looking for any 318's. I don't really care if it's a coupe or a sedan. And I really don't want anything modified. I like e30's very stock. No swaps. I love the m20 more than most people love their own children. Preferably no rust at all, but I can work around minimal rust. Keep in mind that this is going to be my daily driver. I need it to run and drive with no immediate problems. This is not a project car, but I do want something I can do some work on. I try not to be too picky, but this is going to be my first car and I plan on keeping it forever and taking care of it. So I guess I have to be a little picky about it. I live in Bardstown, Ky. So anything relatively close I will definitely come pick up. I willing to make a 8-9 hour trip though. At the moment I don't have much of a budget (about $2,000). I realize I can't get everything I'm looking for for less than 4-5,000. But this is really just a feeler. I was going to wait until the summer, once I'm out for the semester and start a serious search with enough money to get what I really want. So if anyone local or relatively close to me wants to PM me and help me keep an eye out for stuff, that would be great!! Thanks so much guys!
