WTB - Top Dollar for Quality E30 90-91

Based in Seattle area.. I want your quality E30 that I can have my mechanic and fabricator build to my standard. We will make you proud.

Not kicking tires nor short on paying best value for your E30... I'm not 'that guy.'

AND I'm certain you want to avoid the hassle of wasting time and energy.

    Let's deal - Phillip (210) 394-2101.

Curious why you're only interested in years that came with the airbag steering wheel? (since there is a fabricator involved i'm thinking it'll be a project car).

The 89 models did not have the airbag, 90 was the first year to have one.

Are you looking for a coupe, sedan, convertible, M3, iX, etc?

Good question.. I'm probably showing more ignorance versus preferences: coupe preferred, sedan but no IC. Indifferent on the IX but don't know how much of a challenge there is if having to swap auto to 5spd.

I'm really in search of a quality car......... You have one?!?!

I have a similar thread going and I've had some great offers. I'll PM you some links as they, for one reason or another, weren't what I was looking for but are awesome cars. Welcome to the trophy e30 hunt. Get ready to lose your mind.

It just looks like you have a plan for the car, but for the right people to offer their car to you you should post as many requirements as you can. "Quality car" can mean a lot of things (showroom condition stocker, or properly swapped hot-rod, etc) so give some specifics about what your master plan is (such as a complete 24v engine swap, or building a caged track car, or a mild weekend driver creampuff etc).

Back when i was searching for my first E30, i first educated myself about the differences between the various years and models and determined what i wanted and did not want, then it became clear that it had to be an 89 325is only as no other year or model met my specific requirements (non-airbag, plastic bumpers, ellipsoid headlights, pop-out quarter windows, iS front lip and rear decklid spoiler, premium stereo, OBC, electric windows and sunroof).

It still took me about a year of searching and test-driving until i finally found a nice example and as soon as he opened the garage i was sure i was probably going to buy it. I only took the test-drive to make sure there were no catastrophic problems with the engine and drivetrain, and to find out what mechanical or suspension stuff needed fixing since i was already over-paying for a very clean example.

          You have one?!?!
I do have a fairly nice one, but i'm not ready to sell it yet (maybe later this summer if i don't chicken out again LOL).

Thanks to Mafia Racers in Portland .. My search is done. Bought a gem today... And for the next few weeks the auto gets swapped for a 5spd + 3 pedals, 3.73 LSD, ss brake lines, and some clean up work... Not to mention the 15" BBSes that were waiting to be mated to the right car! Munich Motor Works in Portland gets a shoutout as well!!!
