Hello,

Selling a 1991 BMW 318is coupe. It has a sunroof (crank) and a manual transmission. Orig. M42 engine.

Original car. Re-painted white but orig. color is the same. Has a Clarion radio. Dashboard has a few cracks. Driver seat has some tears. Interior intact. Trunk is clean. Vehicle is lowered and has 15" BBS rims.

Straight frame, clean title. Inner fire walls and fender wells intact. 130K on odometer which is functioning. Orig. mileage is approx. 200K. Starts-up every time with no engine or sensor lights. Has power-steering.

24 year old car which needs some work. Needs new wheels/tires, springs, struts. Recommend new front wheel bearings, alignment, and replace rack & pinion.

Selling $4500 firm. No BS. I'm telling you the condition of the car. No need to spend $50 on carfax. Smog equipment all accounted for. Need money to fix my two other E30s in the garage. Yes, I have a shop. Recommended buyer should have some knowledge of E30s.

why does it need new rims? those look really good. was the rear bumper replaced? it seems like it might be a little whiter color. you should post pics of the interior.

Thanks, I'm still revising the listing. I was in a hurry the first time. The previous owner welded the wheel spacer to the rims for that ridiculous "flush style", so I couldn't get to the bearings. Only solution is to buy new rims. See above revised description. Rack & pinion needs to be replaced as well as alignment done.

I have no idea about the bumper, my guess is that it was taken off when the car was repainted. I checked the trunk and under panel of the vehicle - no frame or trunk damage. So it hasn't been hit. Just a quick paint job by a non-professional.

If you know a lot about auto repair, specifically this car, I would recommend it. If you want a mint condition car, then you might have to spend more. The car does need some repairs because its 24 years old, but its long-term. I just only stress what needs to be done for the new owner. Car does run fine though without hiccups from the electrical components. No sensor or engine lights come on.

I can do any repair that is necessary for this vehicle but the buyer has to pay for it. I can provide a receipt and a warranty on the labor/parts for that job. I just have two other E30s which are in worse shape but I want to get those projects done which I think they will be great when complete.
