I figure this car will end up in one of two scenario's...

    1. re-listed with the hood painted at a much higher price.
    2. a track addicts wet-dream come true.

Nice car Carlb, shame you needed to sell it under those circumstances. What happened to the fiberglass hood?

Nice! What a catch for the buyer, now he can go on and sell it for a quarter mil. Good luck with situation OP.

I feel like that's still a killer deal for a clean m3, you can always stick an s14 in storage or something if you want to try and keep the collector status.

I don't argue for a second that it's still a decent deal, but I do find it amusing to see it back up for sale only 5 months later :)

Now if I could just convince my wife that it makes for a reasonable commuter car...

The amount of money it would take to get this car back to original, would be staggering. The firewall was moved back 4".

Been posted on eBay a couple months back also if I'm not mistaken? Honestly, any e30 M3 that doesn't have the stock engine, interior, and matching body panel's I believe would be a hard sale in the $30k+ range.

It sold for somewhere around 20k I believe, Was listed around that anyway, then it got relisted within a month for 35k by the guy who bought it.

It's been listed on Seattle c/l, for months. It's also been on eBay a couple times.

Its been still at one's guy possession for all this time. Obviously itdoesn't have that much to do with real M3 anymore.
I honestly like it more than just stock M3, therefore I through an offer of 24k IIRC and was turned down. At the end of the day this money can get many better and nicer car, with no collectible value, as that one.

There are some very nice e36 m3, e46m3 , e39 m5 even e60 m5 that you can get for that kind of money. I am sure the V10 been the only will some day be a collectable item.
