        None other than the Conforti Chip (which I have the stock chip and a spare stock ECU). The plan was to keep everything I added Spec E30 legal, which meant no diving into the engine. The chip was easy to replace, thus the reason why I did it, but cams or the like would have been more involved.

        For an interested party, I can do a leak down and compression test (have the equipment at home and may do this just to post the numbers). The engine pulls very well. - AB
