    WTB E30! Details inside

Please read all the way through!

    Hey all,

As the title states, I am now in the market for an E30 to daily drive. I had a 325is a few years ago and loved it to death, so now that my current (last?) car is dead, it's time to get back in the E30 game!

I don't have that many requirements, but I do have a couple:

    1. Coupe!
    2. Limited-slip diff
    3. 5spd manual
    4. Not a 318 (I might be willing to back down on this)
    5. Mechanically sound and up to date on all common wearable parts (suspension/subframe bushings, water pump, gaskets, etc etc)
    6. an iS front lip would be ideal, but is not necessary
    7. A decent coilover setup. If I bought one without it I'd have to pay to have one installed almost immediately anyway, so might as well have that knocked out.

I would be very interested in a properly done S50 or S52 swap.
As well, decent aftermarket seats are a huge plus!

I am based in Atlanta, but would be *POSSIBLY* willing to travel outside the Southeast for the right car. All cars would have to have a thorough pre-purchase inspection, paid for by me, at a shop of my choosing. I would also have to test-drive the car (with you present, of course) before handing over the money.

Time is somewhat of the essence here, as my current car is now D-E-D dead, and I'd like to not have to rent a car for the next month.

Things I don't care as much about:

    1. The car's exterior does not have to be in perfect condition. As long as it passes the 10-foot test, I'm fine with some little scratches and dings here and there.
    2. The car's interior does not have to be in great condition. As long as the driver and passenger seats aren't broken and any powered systems work (windows, sunroof, radio, A/C, OBD, locks)

Lastly, and arguably most importantly, my budget: I will have roughly $9k to spend. For the right car I could probably do a little bit more than that, but not much. Ideally I'd like to spend about $8k so that I have some left in the bank in case something goes wrong.

    Thanks so much!
    -Matt

Thanks for the response, reminded me of a big oversight: I'm only looking for coupes! haha

My original post has been edited to reflect this. Sorry for the confusion!
