Hey guys, sadly the day seems to be coming near, I hope it goes to a good home. Up for sale your looking at a Genuine Factory Mtech 2 Convertible. A Mtech 2 Convertible is actually a pretty rare/ uncommon car. Please, If you’ve never heard of them take a minute to do a quick Google search. There’s said to be a little under 3,000 ever built, and over the years I’m sure that numbers decreased. I actually ran across a paper that claims BMW offered only 1,170 of these cars in Alpine White. I looked over 2 years to find the perfect Mtech 2, its in great condition, a true survivor! This car has been enthusiast owned, and maintained since purchase. I bought the car off the original owner, who put on only 155,XXX miles in the 20+ years of ownership. The car was purchased in the East Bay, at SONNEN BMW, where it lived its whole life. Since then, I’ve put in $1000’s of dollars of maintenance into the car. The car now has 159,XXX, there’s maybe only 1400 miles on all the brand new parts installed total.
I bought this car with the intentions of having a rare, solid built weekend driver, and that’s exactly how I built it. Just took it to Bimmerfest this year!
$9,000 with Hardtop and Hardtop Stand. I'm selling the car for only one reason, to buy an old 2002. I really really wish I had the space to keep this car, I can honestly say this is hands down in the top three most solid e30's I've driven. Burned absolutely no oil (didn't need to top off) on the drive to, or back from LA. That being said, I didn't loose any fluid period. The LA weekend for Bimmerfest added just a tad bit over 1,000 miles.
