I have decided it is time to sell my first car and first love, my 1991 BMW 318i sedan. This "slick top" E30 5-speed sedan is bone stock and in very good condition - I've spent most of the 3.5 years that I've owned the car working to restore it to mint condition. While there is some damage on the front right fender, some peeling clear coat, a bit of rust, and a small power steering fluid leak, these problems are easily fixable and the car runs great as it is. All of the essentials are great: the clutch, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, chassis, etc. have ran great the entire time I've owned it and are all in excellent shape. Additionally, like most E30s, the odometer/speedometer is going out. I have replaced it once, but it will need another one before too long. All things considered, however, I have yet to find an E30 in my area (Nebraska) that looks as clean as this one.
It has nearly new Nexen high-performance all-season radials on BMW alloy wheels, and we have replaced the radiator, water pump, heater valve, front brakes, ignition wires, brake light switch, suspension bushings, and some other small things. We also replaced the BMW emblems, fixed the door locks, glove box latch and some other cosmetic, convenience stuff.
It comes with 4 original BMW steel wheels for your racing tires.
If you follow Jalopnik or Regular Car Reviews, you might recognize my E30; Mr. Regular reviewed it for his popular youtube series. Here is a link to the video, but be warned: his videos are often NSFW. http://jalopnik.com/the-bmw-e30-is-a...e-f-1631900393. (And no, the car hasn't had a $12,000 engine rebuild, son.)
There is so much good about this car, and it has a lot of potential. As I said, it's bone stock and very clean, so the modding potential is unlimited. Turn this car into the AutoX, RallyX, or SCCA Club s54 monster you've always wanted, or slap a turbo on this revtastic and bulletproof M42. This car, while an absolute blast to drive as it is, is the perfect starting place for your modding ambitions. Or, if you'd rather keep it stock like I did, this car is well on its way to mint condition.
If you're looking for a well taken care of, clean, reliable E30 sedan, look no further because you've found it. I am happy to answer any other questions about my E30!
