Been on the hunt for a good clean daily driver e30 for quite some time now (unfortunately been having bad experiences with Craigslist :( ) but in SoCal, preferably near Los Angeles county.

IDEAL would be a 1991 318is ;)

If not 318is, preferably the following:
90-91
Manual only
Minor repairs are OK for me, nothing major
Exterior OK
Interior complete/OK
Able to handle long commute
Coupe or sedan, no convertibles
Any color
Local pickup only, willing to drive out for the right car

Looking to spend $3.2k up to $4k for the right commuting vehicle/318is.

I think you may be about $2,000 off trying to find a clean 318is or 325is. Almost all of the ones in the sub 3/4k range need work. Not that it is impossible, but you will be fighting other people to get that deal.

Thanks papag1234 for your input, hopefully good luck (or more money) comes my way! Planning on bringing my price point higher once I have more funds I can put towards the e30. At least a decent one that would need work has to appear..
