    1984 325e with M50 Swap

    PRICE SET AT $6,000

Time for something new. Selling my E30. This thing is more fun than a barrel full of drunk monkeys. Check out the details below and PM for any additional info.

Alas, it's time for something new, with that said I'm putting my E30 up for sale. This car has been my daily driver for the 3 years and has seen many improvements to make it the vehicle you see now.

Earlier this year, I had the m20 engine professionally swapped for a low mileage M50 Vanos motor out of an automatic e34. Now the car puts out twice the power as the stock motor at 184 hp. All the details of a typical M50 swap were adjusted and corrected (i.e. custom A/C lines, rebuilt shifter to place it in the medium of the console position, Tuned and chipped by Markert Motorworks). Every electronic component on this car is fully functional, windows, sunroof, OBC, interior lights. 196k miles on the chassis, 105k miles on the engine.

Driving this car will immediately put a smile on your face. It is ready to be ripped around back roads, tracked, or will even serve as a great platform to turbo charge.

See below for detailed list for upgrade and highlights.

    Engine
    - M50 Vanos motor from Markert Motorworks w/ 105k miles. The guys at Markert were saving this engine to race at the track, crediting it's reliability.
    - Motor swapped done professionally by Jim Walters at Cult Motorsports
    - Custom wiring harness by Markert Motorworks
    - Custom down pipe and exhaust system done by Syncro Design and Cult Motorsports
    - Tuned and Chipped by Markert Motorworks
    - ECU relocated to glovebox
    - 325i Catback muffler from Bavarian Auto
    - Custom M50 swap headers. Much better than the cheap eBay headers you see on most swaps.
    - Brand new power steering pump
    - Brand new alternator
    - All new belts, hoses and thermostat to ensure the car from overheating
    - Brand new E30 M3 radiator
    - Brand new knock sensors
    - Swap oil pan with new gaskets and grommets
    - All sensors and senders were replaced with new units, including a custom threaded temp sender from Markert Motorworks.
    - Brand new clutch kit installed with motor
    - Stock broke booster with modified intake manifold

    A/C
    - Custom A/C lines made and installed by Marietta Radiator. These guys have built custom A/C systems for hotrods and vintage cars for years, so this system is bulletproof. Blows very cold.

    Exterior/Wheels/Brakes
    - Refinished 14' Basketweave wheels with center caps
    - Tires have been driven about 6k miles since purchased new
    - Cross drilled rotors
    - New StopTech Street Performance front brake pads installed. Will include rear pads.
    - I believe the color is Fjord Blue but I have not been able to confirm that.
    - Modern radio antennae

    Suspension
    - Bilstein suspension lower 2' from stock ride height
    - New strut mounts in front and rear
    - Brand new control arms with AKG busings
    - New tire rods

    Interior
    - Odometer has been refreshed and is fully functional. Gears have been swapped for gears with stronger plastic that will last longer.
    - OBC light has been swapped for an LED backlight unit, ensuring it will not go out.
    - Pioneer audio head unit with USD charging port and aux connection
    - Coco floor mats with lifetime warranty
    - Grip Royal woodgrain steering wheel with quick release hub. Ring hub has been modified to allow for the horn to work.
    - Subwoofer and amp installed in trunk
    - Stick shift with new bushings and relocated to center shifting position after swap. No weird angles.

I'm sure there is a laundry list of details that I haven't mentioned but those are the big ones. The car does had a rebuilt title from when I bought it, but be rest assured, the chassis is straight and true and as strong as any e30. The car qualifies for registration with no title, due to its 32 years of age. Very simple process but it may vary if you do not live in GA.

Being a 30+ year old car there are a few dings and scraps, (slight bubbling on the back right panel) but nothing noticeable or anything that has an impact on the driving experience. A lot has gone into this car to make it a fun little city ripper. Cash Only.
