    FS: 89 325ix 4 door 5 speed

    Offering for sale my 1989 325ix Diamondshwartz / tan vinyl sedan with brand new 5 speed manual swap. Near mint condition and well maintained with lots of new parts. All original body panels and paint. 99.9% rust free!!! This car is not a low mileage garage queen, but I have to admit it is a well preserved gem of a car. Car is in Utah and you are welcome to have the dealer or anyone you like come and give it a thorough examination. Will assist with your shipper if you don't decide to fly here and pick this jewel up yourself. Looking to get $8,000 for it. Also listed for sale locally.

      Thanks, it really did. The car has a whole different character to it now. Almost like it is younger and wants to be driven. The swap is like Viagra for an e30!

              Buyer backed out of deal. Said he didn't have enough money to buy the car after he negotiated me down and committed to buying the car. Was holding it for him and now he can't find the cash, but will still buy the car for even less money. Says he is a R3V member!

              So if someone is interested, the car is still available!

                  Had another guy tell me yesterday that the only way I will get high book on my car is to list it on eBay because no one around here wants a pristine ix. Apparently there are not very many collectors here in Utah and it's not worth daily driving such a fine example of an e30 ix! Ya, I suppose this car will sell to someone like me that has multiple choices in what to drive, an enthusiast, someone that lives in snow country that has an intended usefulness for owning such a car. This may end up on eBay after all, IDK.

                    I would want it but I think your price is more than I'd be willing to swing right now unless my V8 swap sells.

                      Saw another ix just like mine but an auto listed for $14k on eBay. Mine is now listed too and quite a bargain compared to that one!

                        Going head to head with that other car on Ebay made me laugh a bit as he lowered his price $3,000 just to make his add not look ridiculous. Mine should still be a bargain at almost $3k less than his with his being an automatic but with less miles. I am amazed that I have so many people watching this auction with almost 1000 views in one week, yet no one willing to pull the trigger. I do have another local interested though. I guess we will see what comes of that.

                              What a Beautiful example... I can't afford it as my wife has me on a $5k budget for my next E30, but def a Bump for a nice E30!
