71K original miles. Near perfect E30 convertible. Two previous owners. The couple I purchased the car from owned it since 1998. It was used sparingly but regularly. It was kept at their second vacation home. This car was adult owned and is unmolested.

•8/7/15 - Timing belt replaced as routine maintenance
•8/7/15 - Replaced idler belt pulley
•8/7/15 - Replaced water pump as preventative maintenance
•8/7/15 - Alternator replaced (Bosch)

•Color - Alpine White
•Original paint in very good condition
•Paint meters 3.5 - 4.0 on all panels
•Soft top in average condition
•Original factory wheels with proper center caps
•Windshield free of any stars or chips

Interior
•Color - Beige
•Full leather Recaro seats in very good condition - no rips or tears.
•Driverside bolster in good condition.
•No cracks in dash
•No stains in carpet
•No wear on steering wheel or shift selector leather
•No wear on buttons, controls or knobs
•Only noticeable issues are a couple seams separating at the top of the rear seat

Mechanical condition
•Everything functions properly and as it should
•Front/Rear power window switches function properly
•Cruise control functions properly
•Recent tires in very good condition. Tread depth 8/32"
•Dual electrically adjustable side rear view mirrors function properly
•Headlights/Blinkers/Fog lamps/Brake lamps function properly

Spare tire is original and unused. Tool kit is complete. Jack is complete.

A few known issues - left turn indicator does not illuminate when turning left. Blinkers and hazards function properly. Only the indicator in the dash cluster does not illuminate. Air conditioning does not blow cold. All air conditioning components are present.

Inspections welcome. Auto Check report available. Happy to assist with shipping or fly and drive. I just completed a long trip and the car performed flawlessly. I would have no hesitation driving this car to the east or west coast tomorrow.

Buy it and swap out the tranny. For the time and money spent to do this, with the low miles it has, this would be a very valuable car, indeed. Condition appears to support the mileage and looks well-sorted.

How much is a tranny swap and what shop has the best reputation for doing them?

I have a BMW Indy that I trust. I will check with him tomorrow. I know he has a gearbox in stock because I was trying to buy a 5 speed in Oklahoma that need a replacement and he was ready to do it but I didn't get it bought. That would have been an easy manual to manual replacement.
