Up for sale is a 1987 BMW 325i. For those who might not know anything about the car, I'll save you a google. Its the pre-face lift model with the aluminum "diving board" bumpers in a polished condition. The engine is a 2.5l straight six that makes 163hp. The handling is tight. The suspension rides excellently and it is a dream to drive. The car is located in Delco PA
features
-power windows, locks and sun roof
-2.5 liter engine
-5 speed manual
-black leather interior
-plenty of rear room and trunk space
-full size spare tire, jack and emergency kit in trunk
-cruise control
-surround sound speakers and radio with Cd player.
-air condition
I bought the car from someone outside Harrisburg who owned it for 14 odd years. He bought it for his daughter but it was barely driven. He did a great job of maintaining it and even kept a little book of records of maintenance.
Here's what I've done:
-New timing belt
-New water pump
-New Ac and alternator belts
-New fan clutch
-Replaced distributor rotor and cap
-New leather shift boot and hand break boot
-Adjusted the valves and replaced the valve cover gasket
-New paint- I just had the car repainted. The color was originally a silver-gray and is now a dark gray (Valspar 6024)
Maintenance by previous owner
-Replaced the instrument cluster (These Bmw e30s have a history of the gears that turn the odom failing, the owner before me replaced these gears and the cluster.)
-At 189k Bosch spark plugs
-At 202k ac compressor was replaced with a used one.
-At 202k Thermostat was replaced
-At 203k clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder was replaced
-At 203k Alternator and deep-cycle battery.
-At 207k new front brake pads
Cons-
-The leather on the front seats are fairly worn, still functional but cosmetically rough. (see pictures)
-The dash has one crack above the glove box
-The car does have high milage but it was taken car of and the engine is in great condition, the transmission feels tight and it has a fresh coat of paint.
-Tires are 50%
This is a great car that has been well maintained and never abused (Its completely stock, all parts are OEM), and as a plus it has a great new paint job! It really is a fun car, the 5 speed makes it feel sporty but you still get 25mpg and have plenty of room in the rear. This is a great car and is really the Ultimate Driving Machine. If your interested you can email or text. I'm interested in selling the car but I am open to trades, if you're looking to trade please contact me with what you have.
thanks for your interest.
