Love the car. Even checked with the wife as to whether she thought this would count as a "new car" which we've agreed to buy later this fall when we sell our ix. She didn't.

My advice? Just put it on ebay and link notice to here and the other e30 and BMW forum sites. For the money you want, your audience needs to be a lot broader than this... set a reserve you are comfortable with and put it up for as long as you can... word will get out. While admittedly an overly broad generalization, most on here seem to be in the sub 24 age range, and not ready to spring real money. Not an insult, just an observation.

GLWS. Please post back here what it goes for so people know what the top end of the market is!

Appreciate the suggestion, eBay is not something I want to deal with right now. A lot of tire kickers there. I tried selling a car through there last year and the guy who won the auction, flaked out. It was nothing but headaches from eBay:-(

I understand the rarity of a touring model in this type of condition, but for $13.5k it should be in absolute turn key condition, no cracks in the dash, and blower motor fully functional. I just spent $12k on a 1989 coupe, 325i, RWD. And it only had 53,000 miles on it!!! In absolute mint condition, nothing at all wrong with it, mechanically or cosmetically. Your car has more than twice the mileage, several things wrong with it, and a cloth interior. The rarity of the touring style and AWD are great, and that sparks my interest for sure, but at the higher end of the price spectrum, it better be perfect. Just saying.

Beautiful car though, and incredible that it's touring and AWD. You should have great luck, at a lower price, or properly repaired.

Tourings have always commanded premium price over regular e30's....

Honestly who gives a shit about mileage at this point? These cars are 25 years old. No matter the mileage, time has deteriorated a lot of components that will need to be replaced whether it has 50k or 350k on the ODO.

You see guys with bone stock, or slightly modified e30's asking 10k.

A touring will always be rare...
