Quite surprised this has not gone already, the price is not low, but the car looks damn mint, an instant inspiration to clean up my Touring. GLWS!

So it turns out that my wife will not consider this as "getting a new car", which we've agreed to do later this year, and selling our 1990 ix.

I am not sure why people feel the need to criticize other people's posts... guess what? If it is over priced, it won't sell and hell lower the price. Just because you wouldn't pay that for it is irrelevant. He said make an offer... if you're interested, make and offer to him and if he is okay with that offer he'll sell you the car. It's called capitalism.

If I were the seller, I'd just put it on ebay with a reserve and then post the links around to the E30 sites. Something this rare should be marketed to a wider audience than just people who have the time to frequent forums. Hell, I just want to see what the larger market would set the price at for this!

I agree but I dont see too many comments hating on the price. Anyone who doesnt think this car is worth every penny is crazy anyway. every time I click into this thread I get 1% closer to buying it. That first picture in the thread... its just so damn pretty. I have a problem!

Any interest in a rust-free 89 e30 sedan with a freshly swapped 69k mile s52 and zf trans?

Do you have better photos of the dash? Any photos of the underside? Could you please summarize any rust issues - hatch, fenders, etc.? Have you confirmed that the AWD is working properly?

                      Thanks very much.

I'll take better photos of the dash tomorrow. There's no rust issues, and AWD works fine.
