Yeah CA is not a good Mk2 market as I'm learning! Shipping to Kansas, hypothetically of course, would be aroung 1k, probably 14-1600 shipped to your door, bringing it up to ~2600 all in!

Haha I'm actually in North Carolina, that was me meeting you halfway. The east coast seems to love some old VWs. I see a bunch of them for sell out here but they're all like "fuel leak, oil leak, clutch slips, wheels bent, floor boards rusted out, asking $6000 FIRM. I know what I have!" haha. It's ridiculous.

Yep exactly If you'd consider shipping it, it'd be around 2k for that so you'd be in about 3k total. If it comes out to more than that, I'll take the rest out of the 1k car price so you're not out of pocket any more than you should be. Can you tell I need this gone? :p

If you are serious, I can get it into a shop after new years and see what they'd say and if anything stood out, I'd talk to you and most likely get it taken care of. I'd say no simply because it's an '86 VW with 261k on it and there's really no telling to be honest
