The car:
100% stock, mint condition. Bmw e30 sedan 1991.
Runs like a champ. Rust free. Stored indoor for the last 12 years. Never got out during the winter since 1998. I'm the third owner. The paint was done by a pro this fall (car was faded,couple rock chips and clearcoat was peeling at some spot). It was re-paint in original calypso-rot.
The car is mechanicly sound. Bushings are all in good shape. Steering rack was replaced. All the AC system was re-done (blows ice cold). Seats are in great shape. Tune-up was done recently.
The only problem with this car is sometimes on hot starts, the car would hesitate during approx. 15-30 seconds afterstarting it..
I did not investigate about the problem since it "fixes itself'' after 15-20 seconds..
***UPDATE: Problem fix another member explained me had the same problem.. There is a single wire connector that comes out of the harness near the blower fan.. This connector has to be unconnect (he said it's pre-wired for an anti-pollution system require somewhere..)
New tires on it. The car is ''Slicktop''.
