Selling my 1973 Bavaria, California car that was garaged all it's life, no rust, 3rd owner. I bought it few months ago from the second owner who had it since 1976.
According to the second owner the car was driven only on weekends, and the mileage of 29k miles that shows on the odometer is actual miles; Please don't quote me on that as I'm just relaying what I was told.
The previous owner was an older gentleman in his eighties who passed away recently and his wife sold me the car.
It is automatic, interior is absolutely fantastic with no rips or tears, all lights and electrical work, brakes are in excellent shape, suspension is tight, car drives straight and stops properly.
Known issues are.
-Had a paint job with original color some years ago with bad prep job, great daily driver candidate, but to make this an absolute beauty a proper paintjob should be in order.
-Transmission leak
-AC not working but all components are still there. And blower motor is operational at all speeds.
-Odometer gears are worn out do the odometer is not working. Speedo and tach work.
Original tool kit and Jack is still there and complete.
Original Owners manual and literature is still there.
Original steel wheels and hub caps are in excellent shape, tires are few months old with over 95% tread left
-Battery is about 3 months old.
Selling because I have a two car garage and 4 cars and Motorcycle.
I can't keep all the toys and would rather not park this beauty on the street.
The Bavaria qualifies for Classic Car Coverage through Hagerty, I have it insured for $15,000 for $170/year
