    SOLD: 1988 325is 2.8L turbocharged

Hello everyone! Been building and driving this car since about 2010 or so, and with the desire for a different project I'm deciding to sell it. Car has unknown mileage on the chassis (odo doesn't work), but the engine has About 15k on it. For the engine build, everything was replaced with the exception of some hardware and the intake manifold. Body is decent shape, with small dents on some panels and a little rust on the roof (drivers side in front of the sun roof). Other than that I haven't found any other rust. Front passenger 1/4 panel should be replaced if looks are you main concern. Car put out 371whp and 396wtq on a dyno at 14psi. I took it to the drag strip one time, and my lack of drag racing skill, I ran a 12.6 @ 119mph with a horrible 60'. If you have any questions or desire for other photos, just ask or pm me. Asking $10,000 obo based on similar vehicles I've seen for sale. I'm open to offers, and trades as well. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, so I'll update this post as necessary. Car is located in Manistee, MI.

I'd be wary of anyone selling a turbo car for 5k, and this car probably has 3x that in it. If you're gonna lowball the shit out of the man, the least you could do is send him a pm.

The engine alone has well over that in it. I have a record book of everything I've bought for the car, and it's just under 20k. looking back, probably wasn't the smartest way to spend my money, but it sure has been fun! Now that the weather has warmed up, this car is back on DD duty for the summer months.

Very interested. How likely is it that PS could be re-installed? This would be a semi-daily for me so would like PS.

I daily drive it in the summer months. Power steering shouldn't be difficult to reinstall. It may require some adjustment to the intercooler piping to the throttle body as the pump may hit. I do not have the powersteering parts though.

Very clean car. I like how you don't have a center console and nice black carpet.

By all means. I found the power steering pump in my basement, so I do have that. None of the other power steering parts though. I have a lot of random stuff that comes with the car.

Sounds good. I know of a really good E30 mechanic near me so it shouldn't be much of an issue. Just wasn't sure what was all removed and if the PS was salvageable.

The powersteering was just blocked off on the rack, so all you would have to do is remove that and bolt the stock parts back on.
