I have a 1987 BMW 325e e30 5spd with 132k miles on the odo (I was told the odo stopped for a couple years so I'm guessing it has ~170k) and clean title for sale. I planned on keeping this car, but I will be moving soon and I cannot take it with me. I bought this car in August 2015 and A LOT has been done to this car from the previous owner and myself. I've owned 3 e30s and this is by far the nicest running one I've ever had. No leaks of any kind. 23-24mpg 50/50 street/highway driving, 20/21 all street 27/28 all highway. I can refer you to my mechanic and he will vouch for the state of the car. I am located in the southbay area and work out in Marina Del Rey during the weekdays. Text preferred 31070788OO.
Previous Owner's fixes in 2015:
New Factory Clutch (runs and pulls very nicely)
Various hoses and sensors replaced (wasn't specific)
Tokico lowering springs
My recent fixes since August 2015:
New Brake rotors and pads with factory parts
New CAT and O2 sensor to pass smog
New Radiator with Factory Behr part
New Thermostat
New Timing and Power steering belts
New Water Pump
New Motor Mounts
Fixed Odometer gears
New Blower Resistor
Recharged AC (nice and cold for the spring/summer)
Added 13 OBC
Tucked the metal bumpers for a better look
Some things that recently came up and might need attention later:
- Mechanic let me know that the Distributor Cap and Rotor were last replaced in 1996, might need to get those replaced along with the spark plugs before smogging.
- Brake pedal pressure eases up after 30 seconds of being stepped on (might have something to do with the brake booster)
- I noticed that when I step on the clutch for longer than 30 seconds, it won't spring back up (I have to manually lift it back up with my foot and it'll stay up, might have something to do with the Clutch Slave Cylinder) it doesn't affect my daily driving unless Im stepping on the clutch pedal for long periods of time (which is rarely).
R3V Price : $3500
