I have a 1988 E30 325is coupe 5spd. First ill start by saying this car is not the greatest cosmetically so if that is what you are looking for, this car isn’t for you. This is my weekend driver, occasional DD, and some track time car. The odometer works and has around 236k. Has TONS of new parts and throughout my ownership has been upgraded with intent to run SPEC E30. Since I’ve owned this car about 3 years ago many parts replaced with genuine BMW and installed by BMW master tech(me).
This car has power steering delete plate on the steering rack,no cruise control, ABS removed, No radio or speakers, no air conditioning,( compressor, evaporator, lines outside the firewall removed). Electric fan conversion that is wired to the snow flake button. The interior is not the greatest shape with different colors and a carpet that had been cut for stereo installs at some point. The car has been painted at some point before I bought it and has some spots peeling along with a couple of rust areas. The windshield has cracks coming down from the rear view mirror and window tint is poor. the exhaust is also loud for a DD.

- New front control arms
- New urethane control arm bushings
- Install spec legal h&r race springs, bilstein shocks, new spring pads, urethane rear shock mounts, oe front strut mounts( rec camber plates once competitive racing)
- Alpina dme chip( not spec legal)
- Air filter adapter for AFM( not spec legal)
- Shift knob
Since ive owned the vehicle( last 3k miles)
- m50 rebuilt injectors( still have rebuilt stock ones)
- Front strut brace
- Centric reman calipers installed all four
- Ireland engineering stainless brake lines and clutch line
- New cv boots on rr axle
- Rear diff reseal
- Akg subframe bushings
- New late model fuel tank
- New expansion tank and some coolant hoses
- New timing belt, water pump, tensioner, throttle boot, and OE crank sensor
- Complete engine reseal including headgasket with OE parts
- Trans reseal
- Z3 shifter install and all new bushings- solid delrin rear bushing
- New throttle cable and bushing
- Weatherpack connector exchanged and wired for injector harness
- New thermostat and housing
Parts installed before I got the car
- Wheel studs
- momo race steering wheel
- Urethane engine and trans mounts
- Clutch
- Cyl head refresh with new intake valve guides around 220k
- Hawk hp+ front and rear pads(noisy), drilled and slotted rotors
- New front wheel bearings 220k
- Rear strut brace
- Removed one high beamheadlight for airflow to AFM
- Pedal set
- Eibach? F&R adjustable sway bars (not spec legal?)

- Ebay headers and single exhaust to magnaflow(not spec legal) Also quite loud for DD
Things I know offhand that need to be swapped for spec legal
- Reinstall stock air box, stock dme chip
- Stock ex manifold and exhaust( I don’t have)
- Exchange/ sell sway bars to have non adjustable
- in addition all safety gear, battery cutoff/cage/seat etc
