    92 325i 5 speed Brilliantrot Vert 138k rust free

I am selling my 1992 BMW 325i Cabriolet, the car has beautiful Brilliantrot Red paint with a tan sport interior, and a 2.5 liter straight 6 cylinder engine with a proper 5 speed manual transmission. The car has only 138,000 documented miles and has spent the majority of its life down south in Mississippi and Alabama. This car is garage kept and has never seen a winter or snow. I have a clean title, clean car fax, a big folder of paperwork including service records and original manuals for the car.

Body is in great shape, absolutely ZERO rust anywhere (see picture of totally rust free battery box which is unheard of for e30's). Paint is 9/10 and in great shape with the exception of a small spot of clear coat peeling on the rear quarter (see pic). Black convertible top is in good shape, rear window has a crack in it that has been repaired with clear packing tape. The troublesome electric convertible top motors are no longer hooked up, so the roof is operated manually which is much easier. The interior, sport seats, and dash are in good condition, everything works and functions including an aftermarket Kenwood head unit with USB input. The car is totally stock with the exception of the headunit, upgraded Hella H4 lights, and upgraded Bilstein shocks. Car has 14" BBS Basketweaves with extremely rare factory dustshields built in!

This is a highly desirable late model, plastic bumper, m20 powered 6 cylinder, 5 speed e30 vert! Condition of the car speaks for itself. I am confident you will not find a cleaner, stock, unmolested, e30 vert anywhere on the East Coast. Have fun this summer in a rear wheel drive classic convertible!

    SOLD

Please review the forum rules for selling items (no links to CL/eBay). Thanks in advance.

If you're basing your high price on originality and pristine-ness (word?), a buyer would appreciate the original front seats, which these are not. All Verts have horizontal seat stitching.

I'd also expect a vert which brings this type of money to have a *NEAR PERFECT* top (rear window tears are asking for water damage to that beautiful rear seat). If the top is truly original, the window will be zipper-in, and that repair alone will drive up perceived value.

Otherwise, the car looks very clean. GLWS. Sub'd to see what she brings.

What do you really want for it? Has all of the 100k maintenance been done? I am interested.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the front seats have obviously been replaced at some point with coupe is seats. Top motors do not work and are not hooked up, top has no rips or tears with the exception of a split in the rear window that has been adequately repaired from leaking with a piece of clear packing tape. This isn't a car that you would want to leave sitting outside in the rain, it deserves to be garaged. The window also does not have a zipper, which means the top was replaced at some point. Car isn't 100% original, but is an exceptionally clean late model, standard, m20 vert.

Mine is an Alabama car with 103k miles, a very good black interior and perfect top that I had installed by a member in Jersey 2 years ago. Mine is also heavily modified; but I'm super curious to see what this car brings for a stock baseline of my own.

I wouldn't consider a piece of tape an adequate repair on a car you're asking this much for, but each their own.

This is a nice vert and your price Is a great bargain, no need to drop the price any lower. I'd totally buy this and replace the seats and convert top window. Unfortunately I don't have anymore parking space. Once again that's a great price!!!
