I purchased this car back in October 2015 and another E30. The plans were to preserve the car until 2017 when the car turns 30 years old. The following preventative maintenance were done before the car was even driven.
-Timing Belt
-Cam Seal
-Cap & Rotor
-Spark plugs
-Water Pump
-Fan clutch
-Coolant flush and replenished
-Fuel pump
-Fuel filter
Not even 100 miles on new parts.
She runs and drives at the moment but not at the full potential. Will need new fuel injectors and a fuel pressure regulator as the car was sitting for a while.
The clutch grabs great with no signs of wear.
There is a usual rust spot under the driver side tail light and rust spots starting on the sunroof with photos below that is easily replaceable. The undercarriage is solid. The odometer is stuck at 126k but according to the carfax, it seems it could be accurate not too long ago.
